We recommend it. The hotel was quaint, the room was exceptional and large, had essentials for an enjoyable stay. The staff were highly courteous and amiable yet not intrusive. The location of the property was fantastic - at a short distance from Cais da Ribeira.
The area was a little dirty.

Convenient location between the railway station and city center, with metro station nearby. Charming historical building, top floor room with balcony. Friendly and helpful staff provided city map and guidance. Limited WiFi signal. Not recommended for elderly due to stairs. Suitable for couples, families, friends, and solo travelers. Good value for money.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. The vintage-style decor of the room was really charming, creating a cozy and unique atmosphere. the location of the hotel was excellent, with key attractions and the main shopping precinct just a short walk away.
There were some aspects of our stay that were not as satisfactory. The heater in the room was quite old and didn't work properly, which made the room uncomfortably cold.
